Christine Riehl, M.S., M.P.P., is a retired Foreign Service Officer holding a master’s degree in Counseling from Gannon University and a master’s in Public Policy from Harvard’s Kennedy School. She has been involved with the Jefferson since its inception, first as the “founder” of the Jefferson Global Summit and as a member of the Board of Directors. She is also a passionate social activist, concerned for justice, the end to racism, and fixing the problem of income inequality in the U.S. She is a member of AAUW, the ACLU, the NAACP, and The Erie Book Group, and Women United, the United Way's effort to "crush poverty in Erie" through Community Schools.
