A Tale of Two Cathedrals: Walking Tour of Episcopal Cathedral of St. Paul and St. Peter Roman Catholic Cathedral

July 17th,2024 | 10:00 AM - 12:00 PM
Professor/Instructor/Speaker: Michael DeSanctis

Join JES Scholar-in-Residence Dr. Michael E. DeSanctis on a walking tour of Erie's only cathedral churches: The Episcopal Cathedral of St. Paul and St. Peter (Roman Catholic) Cathedral. Erie's downtown cathedrals share much in common as examples of Gothic Revival architecture, rich in history and artistic significance.

Please Note: Participants should be capable of modest movement within the tour sites and able to walk or drive the four city blocks that separate them. The tour will begin promptly at 10:00 a.m. RAIN OR SHINE at West Seventh Street entrance of Episcopal Cathedral of St. Paul. Attendees should arrive 15 minutes prior to check-in.
