Neighborhood Revitalization in Erie's West Bayfront: OWB (Our West Bayfront)

Since it was formally incorporated in 2016, Our West Bayfront has been coordinating neighborhood revitalization efforts in Erie's West Bayfront neighborhoods, a diverse community of 12,000 residents and hundreds of businesses, organizations, and other community stakeholders. Anna Frantz, Executive Director of OWB, will discuss OWB's community-led approach to neighborhood revitalization, the partnerships that support this work, and exciting initiatives in development for 2023.

Anna Frantz, M.C.P.

Anna Frantz, M.C.P., joined Our West Bayfront, a nonprofit neighborhood revitalization organization that serves the neighborhoods west of Erie’s downtown, in 2017 as the organization’s first executive director. Prior to this role, she led Erie’s regional planning effort Destination Erie and directed its implementation initiative Emerge 2040. From 2005 to 2013 Anna worked for the City of New York’s Department of Housing Preservation and Development where she managed several of the agency’s affordable housing finance programs. Anna holds a Master’s degree in City Planning from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology and a bachelor’s degree from Williams College.
