Erie Asian Pacific American Association (APAA) is a volunteer-led, nonprofit organization whose mission is to promote awareness of the diverse Asian Pacific cultures to the Erie community through educational and cultural events such as the Asian Festival, Taste of Asia, Multicultural Asia Day, and activities at schools and organizations. It also provides opportunities for Asian Pacific Americans and their friends in the Erie area to network and share experiences.
Erie Asian Pacific American Association (APAA) was formed in 2005 as a collaborative effort between the Erie Regional Chamber and leading businesses in the local community (for example, GE Transportation, Erie Insurance etc). We are a non profit organization whose Board comprises representatives from several Asian countries. Erie Arts and Culture is the fiscal agent for Erie APAA.
