I wanted to thank the Jefferson Educational Society and its volunteers, organizers of the Perry 200 Grand Parade on May 25.

The Perry 200 Grand Parade, a fabulous celebration, was reminiscent of the parades in Erie when I was a little girl. What a great way to honor all of the veterans, fallen and still with us, for fighting for our freedom. I am eternally grateful to them all.

All parades in Erie should be this outstanding! Thank you to all the marching bands and other units that gave of themselves to be with us. Much appreciated.
