Lecturers at the Jefferson Educational Society

Anna McCartney is a communication and education specialist for Pennsylvania.  As part of her role, she will work with the PA Lake Erie Watershed Association (PLEWA) to restore, protect and conserve the Lake Erie Watershed with new growth and programs like Begin ANEW (A Environment for Wildlife).

Anna holds a B.S. in Education and has taught junior and senior high school general science, biology, physical science, chemistry and Ecology.  Her more than 20 years of experience in creating and managing community programs has not gone unnoticed.  May of her programs and work have received national, state and local recognition and awards, from the White House to the National Newspaper Association, the PA Newspaper Association and more.

Anna will discuss the need for citizen involvement in neighborhoods across the Presque Isle  Bay Watershed  so we are once again in tune with the environment that can sustain the entire PA Lake Erie Watershed.
