Susan Kemenyffy was born in Springfield, MA. She received her B.F.A., from Syracuse University, and both her M.A. and M.F.A. from the University of Iowa. She is a past president of the Erie Art Museum, a former chair of the Pennsylvania Council on the Arts, a trustee of the Erie Community Foundation, and a member of the Garden Club of America / Carrie T. Watson Garden Club. She has worked on several Erie projects, including 'A Sense of Place' at the Tom Ridge Environmental Center, and The Garden of Knowledge’, at Harding Elementary School.
