Lecturers at the Jefferson Educational Society

Dr. Dan Kuehl is an Associate Professor in Mercyhurst University’s Institute for Intelligence Studies. He spent 22 years in the United States Air Force. His final assignment at the Pentagon involved airpower doctrine and studies, including the 1991 Gulf War with Iraq. After that he spent 18 years as a professor at the National Defense University in Washington DC, where his program on Information Operations spanned the range of information in national security, from strategic influence to cyberwarfare. In 2012, he retired from NDU and accepted his current position at Mercyhurst University, where he teaches undergraduate and graduate courses.
