Lecturers at the Jefferson Educational Society

Dr. Colletta has been lecturing on topics of genealogy nationally for 27 years. A faculty member of Institute of Genealogy and Historical Research, Salt Lake Institute of Genealogy, and Boston University’s family history certificate program, he has authored many articles, manuals on passenger arrival records and Italian research, and a narrative family history, Only a Few BONES. In 2014, The Teaching Company released Dr. Colletta’s 15-lesson course, “Discovering Your Roots: The Fundamentals of Genealogy,” as one of their “Great Courses” on DVD, CD and streaming.
