Mr. James Reim is a Chartered Financial Analyst and a Financial Advisor with The Investment Center, Inc. located in Erie, PA. He has more than 29 years of experience in the investment and wealth management business. He structures investment portfolios and provides financial and retirement planning for individuals, corporations, endowments, foundations and pension plans. Mr. Reim received his Business and Finance degree from California State University at Long Beach, California. His past experience includes 14 years with Morgan Stanley and 11 years with PaineWebber. In 1993, the Association of Investment Management and Research (AIMR) awarded Mr. Reim the professional designation of Chartered Financial Analyst. He is a member of the Chartered Financial Analysts Institute as well as the CFA Society of Cleveland. In 2001, Mr. Reim successfully completed the Estate Planning Consultant Program jointly sponsored by The American College and Morgan Stanley. In 2005, he completed the Accredited Investment Fiduciary program sponsored by the Foundation for Fiduciary Studies in Sewickley, PA. He is currently a Director for Asbury Atlantic, the operational board for Asbury Communities which operates seven continuing care retirement centers in MD and PA including Springhill in Erie, Board of Governors Springhill, Chair of the First United Methodist Church Council, Treasurer for Methodist Towers Inc., a member of the Estate Planning Council of Erie, Independent Council on Aging, Erie Kiwanis Club, PA Masons, the Erie Philharmonic Chorus, and the First United Methodist Church choir. Mr. Reim is married with three grown children.
