Mr. Gersh is the Co-Founder and President of the Michigan Urban Farming Initiative (MUFI), an allvolunteer nonprofit based in Detroit’s North End that addresses structural inequality in the food system, drives innovation in blue and green infrastructure, and implements agriculture-centered urban development
strategies. His work at MUFI has been featured on TED and other national platforms.
