The 15-page report, titled “Erie May Lose Pro Baseball,” brings up to date the developments, community reaction, short-term and long-term consequences of the issue, and assesses the stakes and examines the look ahead. The essay was written by Erie baseball expert Alan Swigonski, edited by Jefferson Publications Coordinator Pat Cuneo, and vetted by the Jefferson Editorial Board.
